- Power the camera and connect it to the Internet.
- Identify the camera’s model.
- Place the camera at an appropriate height for capturing.
- After capturing, view the image’s gray scale value by Mech-Eye Viewer. An appropriate value is between 180 and 220.
- Check whether the 2D image is over-exposed or under-exposed.
- If it is, adjust the exposure accordingly or use a flash image instead if necessary, and then return to Step 4.
- If it is not, proceed to Step 6.
- Check whether the 3D point cloud screenshot is over-exposed based on the 2D flash image.
- Check whether the 3D depth map is over-exposed or under-exposed.
- If it is, adjust the 3D exposure accordingly and then return to Step 6.
- If it is not, proceed to Step 8.
- Set the 2D image’s parameters to the adjusted exposure parameters.
- Save the parameters.
