Both Mech Eye and Mech Vision can set ROI. Which one should I set and what is the priority?
The reason for being able to set ROI in both Mech Eye-Viewer and Mech-Vision is there are some customers who may purchase only the camera hardware and not use software like Mech-Vision. In both of these software, 2D ROI setting has the same effect. The advantage of configuring ROI in Mech Eye-Viewer is that it can optimize in image capture time. It’s recommended to prioritize setting ROI in Mech Eye-Viewer.
However, it’s important to note that 3D ROI can only be configured in Mech-Vision, and its functionality and effects are different from 2D ROI.
