- Description:The robot can be pinged, and the network port and robot IP address have been checked to be correct; however, Mech-Viz version 1.8.0 cannot control the robot. When I went back to use version 1.7.4 of the software, the robot could be controlled normally.
The robot IP is 192.168.5.01
- This is a bug that exists in version 1.8.0 of the software and will be fixed in version 1.8.1 of the software;
The reason for this problem: The 1.8.0 version of the software will automatically omit the 0 in front of the number, such as 192.168.5.01, and the IP will be saved as 192.168.5.1 in the system, resulting in the robot IP set in the software being different from the robot controller.
- Current solution: Ensure that the robot’s IP address does not start with the number 0.
