Customized SDK for calculating normals of point cloud

Do you have news about the release of the new SDK for calculating normals of point cloud?

We have now developed the example routine in Halcon for calculating point cloud normals.

To use the point cloud normal functionality, here are the basic steps:

1. You will need to install this version of the SDK and update the camera firmware.
2. The Halcon example routine can be found at the following path: API\samples\Halcon\area_scan_3d_camera\obtain_point_cloud_attached_normal.hdev.

This version has been custom-made specifically for one customer (Mech-Eye PRO M camera, 4th generation).
