Can I use deep learning with the mono camera? I would like to run an instance segmentation for cartons with a mono camera. Will I get a good result or do I need to use a color camera for this project?
Depending on the color of the workpiece, if the color does not affect the segmentation and only the shape is different, a monochrome camera is sufficient. Otherwise, a color camera can yield better results.
