How to address the issue of point cloud gaps at the edge positions of a circular metal part with a smooth surface?
Analyzing the flash image:
- For the point cloud defect spots, it can be determined that they are caused by underexposure due to mirror reflections. The point cloud gaps in these areas are primarily due to low grayscale and signal-to-noise ratio.
- Increase the signal-to-noise ratio, enhance the grayscale, and improve contrast in these areas. You may also consider increasing the 3D exposure and laser intensity.
